Chrysler used cars like the PT Cruiser has a retro feel to it that brings you back to that 1950-60’s when looking at this design. It’s very much a family vehicle with lots of space to move around in. The PT Cruiser seats a family of five, it has the ability to remove various seats for different functions, and it also has plenty of space for luggage. The PT Cruiser since 2000 came in a five-door hatchback and then in 2006 was introduced to a two door cabriolet style. With the two door you find it very hard to get to the back seats.

Chrysler PT Cruiser used originally came with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine and this really wasn’t a big enough engine to handle this design so they come up with a better 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine in 2004. Even with the new engine, it still doesn’t perform like you would think when looking at the design of this vehicle. The PT Cruiser’s ride is comfortable and the noise levels are pretty much nonexistent making it for a good ride. The steering and handling are average at best.

When buying used cars like the PT Cruiser insurance rates tend to be in the mid-range pricing area, so it might be wise to look at getting a pre-owned certified PT Cruiser. It could lower your monthly insurance rates and cut the cost of your financing if this is the way you buy the vehicle. Both insurance companies and financial intuitions take in to account if the vehicle is certified or non-certified when basing their prices.

So I do recommend Chrysler used cars such as the PT Cruiser, when buying used, they are real affordable, there great for a young family of five and you won’t pay and arm and leg at the gas pumps.
